Mark Owen

Mark Owen has been a MEEMIC® Agent since August of 1996. He graduated from DeWitt High School in 1977 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He is licensed with the state of Michigan to sell property and casualty insurance.

Mark's educational career includes time as a teacher, coach, and technology coordinator. Mark has served over twenty five years in public education. Mark and his wife Marla (also a 2nd Grade teacher) are the proud parents of Mark, Jr. and Tyler. Mark Jr. is currently a student at Mott Community College studying business (and working part-time in dad's office). Tyler is a attends Davison High School and spends his time playing basketball, baseball and studying hard!

Martha Wilcox

"Marty" and her husband Barry have been married just over 20 years. Marty retired from the Flint Community Schools with 30 years of service. While at the Flint Schools she worked in printing services, finishing her tenure as Supervisor. Marty is a licensed representative and has worked for MEEMIC and the VanRoeyen Agency for 10 years. She has made many great friends with the office staff as well as you, our clients! Marty looks forward to your calls and truly enjoys her job!

Patty Russell

Patty is a Customer Service Representative and Office Manager working for Mark in his office. She has 16 years of insurance experience as well as a license in property and casualty insurance.

Paula Steinhoff

Paula Steinhoff and husband Carl were MEEMIC agents for well over 20 years. Paula is here to serve her former clients and our agency in general. We welcome her expertise and are very pleased to have Paula with us.

Diane Deitering

Diane has been representing MEEMIC Insurance Company for the past seven years at the VanRoeyen, Duty and Owen Agencies. She has enjoyed getting to know so many of you. She is married with three children and lives in Flushing.

Mark Owen Jr.

Mark Owen Jr. has been working for his dad the past couple years. Mark has recently earned an Associates Degree in Business and is currently enrolled in Florida Atlantic University to complete his Bachelors in Business Administration. Upon graduation Mark plans to join the Owen Agency as a full-time licensed team member!

Mackenzie Gist

Mackenzie is a 2010 graduate of Davison High School. She was involved with DECA (a marketing organization for high school students) for two years. Mackenzie placed first in the state for her division. Mackenzie later went on to the national conference representing Davison. From this experience she became interested in business and sales. She is currently going to Mott Community College evenings and plans to go to U-M Flint to complete a business degree. Mackenzie plans on getting licensed this August while making insurance at the Owen Agency her career. Mackenzie really enjoys customer service and loves insurance!

Cathy Newberry

Cathy began her career in the field of insurance at the AS Arbury & Sons Insurance Company in Midland. After moving to the Auburn Hills area, Cathy worked at our home MEEMIC office as an underwriter. Both experiences did a lot in preparing Cathy to fit in very well in our both our Davison and Flint offices. Cathy has two children, son Justin age 8 and daughter Julia age 7. Cathy is a devoted mom who cares greatly about her family. We find Cathy very easy to work with and very helpful to our clients

Maryanne George

"My name is Maryanne. I am a licensed representative and have worked at the VanRoeyen Agency for 15 years. I feel like I know many of you personally. I am married and have a grown son living in New York. Kelly Hawkins

Kelly is a welcome addition to our staff. Kelly has more than 10 years experience with MEEMIC and received her P&C license in 2005. Kelly truly dedicates herself to helping our insureds understand their coverages and needs while saving them money.

Amanda Clark

Amanda has worked for the VanRoeyen agency for 4 years this coming May. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 2005. Amanda earned her job while taking a mock interview with Vince. Amanda and Pat (her fiancé) have two wonderful kids, Evalyn who is 3 and Ethan who is 6 months.
